As the line in the infamous Christmas song goes, “It’s the most wonderful time of the year”. Christmas comes but once a year and because of that, most people go completely hog wild with their decorating. If you have children, your décor may be bright and fun filled with sparkle and wonderment while single people may have a more subdued and formal decorating approach. We say that the latter, is NO FUN AT ALL! The holidays are for celebrating and having a fun with your family and friends. No stuffy décor should be found during the holidays, and that goes for the outside of your house as well. When decorating outside, you should try using snowmen as your Christmas yard decorations. Who cares if you live in Arizona where it never sees a flake of snow? You can break the rules during the holidays, so plant a fake Frosty the snowman on your front yard and have a ball!

You may be the kind of person who likes to keep their Christmas decorations up for as long as possible and when using snowmen as a decoration, you can leave it up for the entire month of January if you want to…much to the chagrin of many of your neighbors, I’m sure. If you have a covered porch area, you can use fabric or cotton covered snowmen. As long as these items are protected from the elements and will not be rained or snowed on (causing mildew), you can make your front yard incredibly festive and fun! Create a family of snowmen that mirror the members of your family to add a bit of humor to your front yard! Your family and neighbors will get a kick out of it!
Snowmen can be a festive Christmas yard decoration for any home. There is just something about a roly poly, jolly round snowman that brings a smile to anyone’s face and evokes a fun feeling of the holidays inviting warmth and spirit in even the coldest and cynical of holiday hearts.
