You Have Endless Possibilities With Beautiful Holiday Wreaths

Nothing rings in the start of the Christmas season more than when a holiday wreath is hung on your front door.  There is something about those lovely round boughs of holly that fill a person up with holiday cheer and really gets you into the spirit.  There are many different kids of wreaths that can adorn your door.  Some people prefer nice simple evergreen wreaths with a simple red bow at the top, while other people like more colorful wreaths full of ornaments, ribbons and lights.  Whether you enjoy simple designs or quirky and carefree, a Christmas wreath should welcome your guests every time they approach your front door.

If you would like to have a fresh wreath on your front door, you can do this one of two ways; you can purchase a pre-made wreath at the store or you can buy boughs and make them yourself.  A fresh Christmas wreath carries with it a lovely fragrance that speaks of wintertime and evokes the Christmas spirit.  The downside of a fresh wreath is that it will only last for a few weeks at the most and must be thrown away at the end of the season.  A fake wreath, though not fragrant, can be reused season after season if stored properly.  You can purchase a wreath that appears real and unless someone sticks their noses right up to it, they will never know that it is not fresh!  If you want to go a different route and forego the traditional greenery wreath, you have endless possibilities!  Purchase a willow branch wreath and fill it is with Christmas-themed items such as cranberry springs, holly leaves and silver bells.  If you have access to a hot glue gun, try gluing fun little Christmas tree ornaments onto your wreath.  You can use ornaments that have to do with a certain theme such as The Twelve Days of Christmas or the Little Drummer Boy using different drum ornaments or five golden rings.

Holiday wreaths can remain up on your front door long after you have taken down and put away the last of the Christmas decorations.  It is just one way that you can keep the holidays going just a little bit longer!
